PD Workshops
There are many PD workshops currently available in district including CPR, Framework for Poverty, and Disabilities in the Classroom. Anyone presenting a workshop that qualifies for PD hours needs to contact Nikki Mazur at the Middle School to request certificates.
Nikki Mazur, LPDC Chair
Regardless of when you started; whether you've taken a leave; or transferred from another district, everyone will begin a new year with zero hours. September 2010 starts a new 5 year cycle.
·
District-wide,
teachers will be involved with Professional Learning Communities
starting in October. This will be a great way for everyone to earn
job-embedded professional development hours.
·
Please
be aware that in every building, you now have Professional
Development Representatives. If you have a question, please see a
member of the building team, or contact a member of the LPDC.
